Sydney: A recent study in Canada and Australia has shown that depression is more prevalent among young people who spend more time in front of the TV screen and on social media.  And there are various negative effects of using social media, but this is the first time in the age of adolescence that depression has had a clear relationship with them.  It should be noted that from 13-year-old children to 19-year-old youth are considered "infants" because of the various internal and external physiological and psychological changes that occur at this age, after which the human is approximately 20 years old.  Follows the threshold of "full puberty" in the age. This extensive study was conducted on 3826 young people, including their general mood, taking into account their time spent on social media and in front of the TV screen.  Reviewed.  From 2012 to 2018, data from juveniles from various psychiatric centers and hospitals were obtained for analysis. Expectations were found: boys and girls who were more active on social media or watching more TV.  Of course, the symptoms of depression were significantly higher than those of boys who were spending less time watching social media and TV.  Surprisingly, the difference in symptoms of depression was seen by the difference of only an hour in front of the TV and on social media. This is not because of the age-old issue of accepting external influences.  Am I more delicate and sensitive?  In the next study, which is expected to be done on a much larger scale, the answer to the same question will be explored.
